Character concept and finalization for SEBRAE's elementary and middle school children's education project. For this project, I reduced time and costs by approximately 70% by proposing the use of stock illustrations, which I personally curated, adapted, and organized into a library, combined with original characters to optimize production.
I adapted nearly forty characters from stock images, but Marwin was one of the few I created from scratch.
Marwin was designed to be a friendly leader, guiding kids through the learning process. He was developed with various facial expressions and poses to be used in slides and eBooks, adjusting to the placement of the text he would highlight. The client wanted Marwin to have an approachable and relatable appearance, envisioning him as a character children could imagine creating with everyday items like bottle caps and tape. The final result is a reflection of this concept.
Tools & technologies: Adobe Illustrator.
